What do you get when you cross no money, no time and the flu? This isn’t a riddle, this is an experiment of epic proportions. Dramatic much? Yes, we’re still a little doped up on codeine.
‘Stay Up’ by That’s Them was an open brief clip with one catch- we have beers but no money. Heard that one before. We decided to make the most of our equipment and location limitations and give the clip a sci fi 80’s vibe, blending live action of the boys we shot in a warehouse with public domain footage we scoured the internet for. We mixed it up with cheesy graphics we created to give the clip more of an overlaid feel.
